Paramore’s That’s What You Get is definitely one of the best female vocal pop-rock songs to come out within the last 5 years. Some edgy guitars before settling down into a smooth groove, lead singer Hayley Williams then takes the song away. Catchy and wise, she and Paramore definitely offer some great love life advice for those late high school years. Give it another listen!

Crystalyne
It’s pretty difficult to be have a female vocalist and not be compared to Paramore. That being said, with Paramore’s huge success and continual growth, that’s a good thing. Today we have Crystalyne, a 4 piece band from Toronto with, obviously a female vocalist. Marissa Dattoli belts it loud and nails it, creating a familiar but fun sound. Here is their video for Never Look Back.
